Music has been playing an important role in my life since childhood. At the age of 5 I got my first violin lesson. I always had teachers who could pass on their passion for music and violin playing. As a teenager, I got to know the fantastic world of orchestral playing, which was also the deciding factor that I wanted to study music.”

After graduation, I studied with Eiko Furusawa in Zurich and then with Karen Turpie at the Conservatory in Schaffhausen, where I graduated with a teaching diploma. I continued my studies with Ulrich Gröner at the Musikhochschule Winterthur / Zurich. Numerous master classes at home and abroad for violin and chamber music supplemented my studies.

The passion for playing together has never left me, and I have been playing in various Swiss orchestras for many years.
